Finally, the EECCA RCP supported the standards and operations team by raising awareness in the Russian mine action community around regional training courses (operational efficiency, quality management, NTS). ADAPTATIONS In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the EECCA RCP to postpone the delivery of several scheduled training courses. The GICHD will continue learning and adapting to deliver more of its in-person training courses remotely.

Cooperation among affected countries of the Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA) region is important in addressing challenges around long-term and recent contamination. The EECCA RCP is a regional cooperation framework that promotes the exchange of good practice amongst stakeholders who share Russian as a common language.
